Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately exert traffic lane change assistance control.SOLUTION: In a case where a specific condition in which a difference between a lateral deviation and a previous lateral deviation is larger than a predetermined threshold is satisfied during traffic lane change assistance control, a drive assistance ECU 10 calculates a lateral deviation difference after a corrected previous filter process, in which a lateral deviation after the previous filter process is corrected according to the direction of a traffic lane change by an amount corresponding to a distance between a reference position of a traffic lane in which the own vehicle was traveling before the traffic lane change and a reference position of a traffic lane in which the own vehicle travels after the traffic lane change. The driving assistance ECU calculates for performing a noise removal filter process, using the lateral deviation after the corrected previous filter process instead of the lateral deviation after the previous filter process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
