Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for inhibiting elevation of blood pressure that has strong action of inhibiting elevation of blood pressure, and can be produced efficiently in a relatively short period.SOLUTION: A culture medium containing seaweed as the raw material is inoculated with koji mold and it is cultured under an aerobic condition, to obtain a koji mold fermented product of seaweed. The koji mold fermented product is used as an active ingredient of a composition for inhibiting elevation of blood pressure. The seaweed is preferably seaweed belonging to Phaeophyceae, and is further preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of Hizikia fusiforme, Undaria pinnatifida, L.angustata Kjellm, Laminaria japonica, and Sargassum horneri (Turner) C.Agardh.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
