Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card edge connector, which allows wiring of a wire harness to be inspected from a counter connector in a state where a circuit board is not inserted into the card edge connector.SOLUTION: A plurality of pairs of contact terminals 13a and 13b to be stored in a card edge connector 10 comprise backside members 14a and 14b, one ends of which are connected with lead wire 72a and 72b and the other ends of which have movable members 15a and 15b folded and generated. End parts of the movable members 15a and 15b conductively contact to each other until a circuit board 61 of a control unit 60 is inserted therebetween, and once the circuit board 61 is inserted therebetween, the movable members 15a and 15b are separated from each other to contact copper-foil terminals 62a and 62b. When drawing out the circuit board 61, the movable members 15a and 15b elastically deform and then oppose to each other at an initial gap G smaller than a thickness dimension of the circuit board 61. When inserting the circuit board 61 therebetween again, the movable members 15a and 15b are separated slightly and contact the copper-foil terminals 62a and 62b, so that sliding friction of the contacting surfaces is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
