PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation point estimation system, fixation point estimation method, and fixation point estimation program that are capable of estimating a user's fixation point without requiring previous correction of a camera posture, from a whole-sky picture imaged using a single whole-sky camera, the whole-sky picture including the user's eyeball and a fixation target scene.SOLUTION: A fixation point estimation system, by whole-sky picture acquisition means, acquires a whole-sky picture including a user's eyeball and a fixation target scene; by iris part picture extraction means, extracts an iris part picture of the eyeball from the acquired whole-sky picture; by iris elliptical shape evaluation means, calculates an elliptical shape of the extracted iris part picture; by visual line direction estimation means, calculates the user's visual line direction from the elliptical shape of the iris part picture; and, by fixation point estimation means, estimates the user's fixation point from the calculated visual line direction and the fixation target scene.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
