Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device using a pixel having a configuration capable of correcting variations in the threshold value of a TFT by using a configuration that is hard to be influenced by variations in a capacitance value.SOLUTION: A voltage equal to a threshold value of a TFT 2007 is held in capacitor means 2011. When a video signal is inputted from a source signal line, the voltage held in the capacitor means is added thereto and a resultant signal is applied to a gate electrode of the TFT 2007. Even when a threshold value is varied for each pixel, each threshold value is held in the capacitor means 2011 for each pixel. Thus, the influence of variations in the threshold value can be eliminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
