Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of consumption of an immersion liquid when air bubbles mixed into the liquid are removed.SOLUTION: An objective lens unit 11 for an inverted-type liquid immersion microscope includes: a first pipe-like liquid passage 120 that has an opening arranged at a lens surface end part closest to an observation object and is connected to the outside of the objective lens unit 11; and a second pipe-like liquid passage 130 that is provided independently from the first liquid passage 120, has an opening arranged at a position adjacent to the opening of the first liquid passage at the lens surface end part, and is connected to the outside of the objective lens unit 11. The lens surface end part is locally formed with hollows in a portion of a circumferential direction, and the two openings of the first liquid passage 120 and the second liquid passage 130 are arranged in the hollows.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
