Abstract:
To provide an inkjet printer which can reduce an ink spilled from an ink receiving part for receiving the ink which is discharged from an inkjet head and becomes a waste liquid.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer includes: an ink receiving part 26 which receives an ink, which is discharged from an inkjet head 11 and becomes a waste liquid, and can move in a horizontal direction; an ink reservoir part 36 which is formed at a part of the ink receiving part 26, has a depth of a specified depth or deeper, and accumulates the ink; an ink collection part 23 which collects the ink received by the ink receiving part 26 and causes the ink to flow into the ink reservoir part 36; a suction part 25 which suctions the ink from the ink reservoir part 36; a liquid level sensor 24 which detects whether or not a liquid surface level of the ink accumulated in the ink reservoir part 36 reaches a reference height; and a control part which controls so that the suction part 25 suctions the ink from the ink reservoir part 36 when the liquid level sensor 24 detects that the liquid surface level of the ink in ink reservoir part 36 reaches the reference height.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
