Abstract:
To provide an electric power transmission device which is equipped with both of a power connecting/disconnecting mechanism and a torque limiter so as to improve fuel consumption and prevent breakage of a shaft, and is compact as a whole.SOLUTION: An electric power transmission device 1 is equipped with an output shaft 10; a counter shaft 20; a drive shaft 30; a first gear 40 integrally rotating with the output shaft; a second gear 50 which is engaged with the first gear and can relatively rotate with respect to a counter shaft; a third gear 60 integrally rotating with the counter shaft; a differential mechanism portion 80 which includes a fourth gear 70 engaged with the third gear and is connected with the drive shaft; a rotary member 100 disposed on the counter shaft; and a power connecting/disconnecting mechanism portion 200 disposed on the counter shaft. A second meshing portion 102 on the rotary member engages/disengages with the first meshing portion 54 in the second gear to control torque transmission.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
