Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker which can safely release pressure.SOLUTION: The present invention includes: a body; an inner pot stored in the body; a cover covering an upper part of the body; an inner cover having a seam member and provided to the cover so as to cover the inner pot in a sealed manner by bringing the seal member into contact with a whole periphery of an upper end opening of the inner pot; a lock means for maintaining the sealed state between the inner pot and the inner cover even when a predefined pressure higher than atmospheric pressure is applied to an inner space sealed in the inner pot and the inner cover; a pressure reduction means for returning the predefined pressure applied to the inner space sealed in the inner pot and the inner cover back to the atmospheric pressure; and a heating means provided in the body for heating the inner pot. The pressure reduction means reduces the pressure by opening a steam valve to evacuate the steam in which the steam valve is operated so as to be opened by a drive force of an electric motor controlled by a control means and closed by an energizing means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
