Abstract:
To perform steady monitoring and sign diagnosis on grease, used for important rotary components (bearing), such as a main shaft, a generator, a yaw, a pitch, etc., of a wind power generator.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a monitoring system for grease supplied to a mechanical drive part of a wind power generator. The system consists basically of a server, comprising an input device, a processing device, a storage device, and an output device. The input device inputs measurement data obtained by an optical sensor arranged at least at a part of a path of grease, and also inputs operation parameters of the wind power generator. The processing device generates property parameters of the grease from the measurement data. The storage device stores the property parameters in time series. The processing device predicts future property parameters based upon the time-series property parameter and operation parameters.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
