Abstract:
To provide a large-format printer that can reduce at least one of problems caused by elongating the length of a cable.SOLUTION: The large-format printer, which can perform serial printing on a medium wider than a width of a short side of an A3 size paper by discharging liquid droplets through a plurality of discharge parts, comprises a head unit which includes a discharge-part arrangement constituted of the plurality of discharge parts including a first discharge part that discharges liquid droplets by driving a first driving element and a second discharge part that discharges liquid droplets by driving a second driving element and a clip circuit. The clip circuit limits a voltage larger than a predetermined voltage of a driving signal when a voltage of the driving signal to be applied to one end of at least either of the first driving element and the second driving element is equal to the predetermined voltage or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
