Abstract:
To achieve a structure capable of restraining friction at an engagement portion between a worm wheel and a worm shaft, and capable of preventing occurrence of damage or plastic deformation in a spring constituting an energizing member.SOLUTION: An energizing member body 40 is pressed to an axial direction by a pressing member 41 constituting an energizing member 20, and thereby, a plate spring 42 fixed to the energizing member body 40 is pressed onto an outer peripheral surface of a second bearing 20, and the other side in the axial direction of a worm shaft 17 is energized in a direction to come close to a worm wheel. The plate spring 42 is cantilevered to the energizing member body 40 in a free state, and is double-supported by the energizing member body 40 so as to stepwisely increase the spring contant when a deflection amount is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
