Abstract:
To provide: 2-((R)-2-methylpyrrolidin-2-yl)-1H-benzimidazole-4-carboxamide crystalline form 1, also referred to as ABT-888, which is a poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase (PARP) inhibitor and easy to produce and formulate; methods of producing the same; compositions including the crystalline form and produced using the methods; and methods of treating patients having disease using the same.SOLUTION: In 2-((R)-2-methylpyrrolidin-2-yl)-1H-benzimidazole-4-carboxamide crystalline form 1, when measured at about -100°C in the tetragonal crystal system and P43212 space group with radiation at 0.7107 Å, respective lattice parameter values a, b and c are 8.218ű0.002Å, 8.218ű0.002Å and 36.06ű0.01Å, and α, β and γ values are 90°.SELECTED DRAWING: None
