Abstract:
To provide a cutting tool capable of simultaneously improving chipping resistance and cutting resistance.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 1 includes: an end face 10; first and second side faces 13 and 14 crossing the end face 10; a first cutting edge 20a in a crossing ridge line section of the end face 10 and the first side face 13; and a second cutting edge 20b in a crossing ridge line section of the end face 10 and the second side face 14. The first cutting edge 20a has a first honing face 21a while the second cutting edge 20b has a second honing face 21b. A cross-sectional shape of the second honing face 21b is different from that of the first honing face 21a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
