Abstract:
To provide: a pile fabric, which has a high strength, and allows designs of different patterns to be applied on both surfaces at will; and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A pile fabric is formed by stacking a plurality of pile structures into a laminated layer, pile being woven out on at least one of the front and back surfaces of the pile structure every time that a predetermined number of weft yarns are inserted. The pile structures each comprise a pile warp which forms an outer pile part protruding to the exterior surface and an interlaminar pile part protruding between the layers. The interlaminar pile part has a structure where the pile warp intertwines with the weft yarns of the plurality of pile structures.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
