Abstract:
To provide a warp knitting covering material in which base fabric itself is knitted in the knitted fabric being thin and light and having a three-dimensional shape, and further, lateral elasticity is imparted and superior feeling of use is provided.SOLUTION: In the base fabric obtained by knitting synthetic fiber filaments and yarn in the form of chain with a warp knitting machine and being knitted by using synthetic fiber yarn in the weft, shrinkable elastic yarn has irregularities on the base fabric surface by the insertion of chain nodes of the base fabric being knitted by jumping one or more of latitude or longitude or the latitude and the longitude, and the lateral direction is formed in the shape of bellows by the elastic yarn inserted in the other reed.
