Abstract:
To provide a device for correcting belt meandering in a belt conveyor capable of very easily correcting belt meandering.SOLUTION: A belt conveyor A adopting a constitution comprising a revolving frame 2 crossing below a belt a and holding a carrier roller 1, a concentrically arcuate guide rail B positioned in a longitudinal direction of the belt a around a center between both ends of the revolving frame 2, slide holding means C supported at both end parts of the revolving frame 2 and disposed so as to embrace the guide rail B, permanent magnets 12 provided on lower surfaces at both ends of the revolving frame 2, electromagnets 13 disposed on conveyor frames 4 in a parallel arrangement scattered on the moving lines of the permanent magnets 12, meandering detection means D for the belt a, and determination control means E for determining and controlling the electromagnets 13 to be excited according to meandering detection so that the belt a is returned to a meandering correction position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
