Abstract:
To suppress occurrence of meandering of a recording medium, that is generated in an image forming apparatus comprising contactable and separable rollers.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a tension adjustment part 80 for adjusting a tensile force applied to a recording medium sandwiched by plural rollers, and placed on an upstream side of a pair of uppermost stream rollers 71 arranged on an uppermost stream side of a conveying path, or on a downstream side of a pair of lowermost stream rollers 18 arranged on the lowermost stream side of the conveying path, among multiple pairs of rollers 11, 18, 71, and so forth. The tension adjustment part rotates in a conveying direction of the recording medium to adjust the tensile force of the recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
