Abstract:
To convey various objects to be conveyed with different sizes and weights without increase in cost of development, introduction and operation.SOLUTION: A conveyance system includes a movement plan management unit that manages movement plan information of a plurality of conveyance carriers, and at least one of the plurality of conveyance carriers has a first communication unit that receives the movement plan information from the movement plan management unit. The conveyance carrier includes: a drive unit; a conveyance carrier state information acquisition unit that acquires conveyance carrier state information including at least one of a position, a conveyance direction, a conveyance speed, output, and a battery remaining amount; a second communication unit that transmits and receives the conveyance carrier state information, the movement plan information, and function assignment information to and from the other conveyance carrier in the plurality of conveyance carriers; and a function control unit that controls execution of the assigned function based on the function assignment information. At least one of the plurality of conveyance carriers has the function assignment unit that assigns functions to be executed by the plurality of conveyance carriers based on the movement plan information and the conveyance carrier state information and generates function assignment information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
