To provide a hydraulic mechanical continuously variable transmission capable of taking out hydraulic energy from a hydraulic transmission part to the outside.SOLUTION: The hydraulic mechanical continuously variable transmission includes a differential mechanism including an input element connected to a driving source, a first output element connected to a first pump motor, and a second output element connected to a second pump motor, a hydraulic transmission part connecting the first and second pump motors via a closed circuit for outputting the rotation of the first or second pump motor to an output shaft, a first oil path connected to a high pressure side oil path of the closed circuit, a second oil path connected to hydraulic equipment, and a selector valve capable of selecting a first state that the first oil path and the second oil path are connected to each other or a second state that the first oil path and the second oil path are cut off from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
