Abstract:
To provide a device, a method, and a graphical user interface for navigating a user interface hierarchies for preventing unnecessary consumption of power for the device.SOLUTION: An electronic device including a touch sensing surface and one or more sensors for detecting strength of touch includes: a step 15402 of detecting input on the touch sensing surface while a touch sensing display is in a low-power mode; and a step 15414 of gradually displaying, on a display, a corresponding user interface that is not displayed on the display when the display is in the low-power mode, according to determination that the input is detected and according to a change in characteristic of the touch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12A
