Abstract:
To provide an information providing device that enables a user to easily grasp various categories of information even when the user cannot easily operate the device or cannot thoroughly view a screen, an information providing method, a program for providing information, and a storage medium having the program for providing information stored therein.SOLUTION: An information providing device comprises: a system control unit; a display unit; and a voice output unit. The system control unit displays areas A0 to A4 provided for every category on the display unit, and displays information on the categories corresponding to the areas A0 to A4. The system control unit further controls the voice output unit to sequentially read the information on the categories and enlarges and displays one of the areas A2 to A4 corresponding to the category being read.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
