Abstract:

To provide a butt laser welding method of a plate material for providing excellent welding strength.SOLUTION: There is provided a butt laser welding method of a steel sheet for irradiating a laser in a spiral shape or a zigzag shape by butting two plate materials, in which a butt interval G is 2.0 mm or less, and amplitude W of the laser to a welding line is set in a range of the following (1) formula. A laser welding member comprises a welding part in which a width of a butt welding part of the two plate materials is a butt interval or more before welding, and periodically varies along the welding part direction.
