To provide a transportation system and transportation usage management method capable of improving convenience for users.SOLUTION: A transportation system according to the embodiment includes a first device, a second device and a server device. The first device is used at the start of using means of transportation. The first device has a first acquisition part and a first communication part. The first acquisition part communicates with a medium to acquire identification information. The first communication part transmits the identification information to the server device. The second device is used at the end of using means of transportation. The second device has a second acquisition part and a second communication part. The second acquisition part communicates with a medium to acquire identification information. The second communication part transmits information on the type of service to a settlement terminal. The server device has a server side communication part and a control part. The server side communication part receives the information transmitted by the second communication part.
