Abstract:
To provide novel discrimination methods of Gleason Score: GS, and to provide reagents and kits for use in the methods.SOLUTION: We found out that GS can be discriminated using the expression amount per unit area of kinesin family member 25 (KIF25) gene or nucleolar protein 4 (NOL4) gene in the prostate cancer area as an indicator. Based on the finding, the present application provides a method for discriminating GS using the expression amount per unit area of a gene selected from KIF25 or NOL4 in the prostate cancer area as an indicator, for a test sample produced from a prostate tissue including a prostate cancer tissue, as well as a reagent and kit for use in the method.SELECTED DRAWING: None
