Abstract:
To provide a multilayer substrate for electrochromic dimmer elements that do not need a ground layer of ITO film and has stably good conductivity after being heated at a temperature of 350°C or higher.SOLUTION: Provided is a multilayer substrate for electrochromic dimmer elements, comprising a glass substrate 11 and a transparent conductive film 12. The glass substrate 11 contains silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, boron oxide, alkali earth metal oxide and alkali metal oxide in a total amount of 90 mol% or more, and also contains alkali metal oxide in a total amount of 12 mol% or more. The transparent conductive film 12 includes, in the order from the glass substrate 11 side, an indium oxide film 13 containing tin and a tin oxide film 14 containing one or more of tantalum, antimony and fluorine, the indium oxide film 13 being directly formed on the glass substrate 11 and having a refraction index of smaller than 0.4 and an extinction coefficient larger than 0.4, the film thickness of the tin oxide film 14 being larger than 35 nm and less than or equal to 150 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
