Abstract:
To provide techniques for controlling affinity of an antibody for an antigen, and an antibody whose affinity for an antigen has been altered.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by substituting charged amino acid residues for at least 3 amino acid residues of a specific framework region defined by the Chothia method in an antibody in accordance with electrical characteristics of a complementarity determining region (CDR) based on the amino acid sequence of the CDR.SELECTED DRAWING: None
