Abstract:
To provide a vertical circulation type parking device which has vehicle transport cages having different heights, efficiently secures the number of parking, and can be formed into a simple structure, and a modification method of the vertical circulation type parking device.SOLUTION: A vertical circulation type parking device comprises: a drive sprocket which is rotationally driven by an electric motor; a driven plate which is arranged while separating from the drive sprocket in a vertical direction; a transfer chain 20 wound between the drive sprocket and the driven plate, and formed by the connection of a plurality of link groups LG having a prescribed number of links; and vehicle transfer cages 28 which are hung down at the respective link groups LG. The link groups LG have an isometric link 22 having equal pitches, and a heterogeneous pitch link 24 which is different from the isometric link in pitches. The drive sprocket is engaged with the isometric link 22 and the heterogeneous pitch link 24, and teeth are not formed at an external peripheral face of the driven plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
