Abstract:
To obtain a method for manufacturing a wavelength conversion member having a through hole or a notch, for preventing breakage or cracks in a restriction layer even when the member is subjected to mechanical processing.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a wavelength conversion member having a notch or a through hole includes: a step 1 of preparing a green sheet for sintering containing a glass powder and a phosphor powder or laminating two or more of the green sheets; a step 2 of laminating a restriction green sheet on at least one surface of the above green sheet for sintering to obtain a laminate, and then pressurizing the laminate at a pressure of 20 MPa or more; a step 3 of subjecting the pressurized laminate to mechanical processing to form a notch or a through hole; and a step 4 of sintering the laminate having the notch or the through hole. The restriction green sheet has an inorganic powder having a particle diameter Dof 0.6 to 10.4 μm and a particle diameter Dof 1.0 to 21.8 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
