Abstract:
To provide printing equipment capable of keeping the printing quality good and cooling a heating element.SOLUTION: Printing equipment 1 includes: a base plate 21; a mounting part 22 which is rotatably installed on a surface of one side of the base plate 21 and on which a ribbon roll, around which an ink ribbon is wound, is mounted; a thermal head 26 which is installed on the surface of one side of the base plate 21 and heats the ink ribbon unwound from the ribbon roll according to the movement of the mounting part 22; a partition wall 27 which divides an area on one side of the base plate 21 into a first area A1 which includes at least the mounting part 22 and a second area A2 which includes at least the thermal head 26; drive mechanism which is installed on a third area on the other side of the base plate 21 and includes a motor for rotating the mounting part 22; and a fan 23 which is installed on the base plate 21 and causes air flow from the second area A2 toward the first area A1 through the third area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
