Abstract:
To provide a seal device which includes a member capable of capturing foreign objects while inhibiting enlargement of the device.SOLUTION: A seal device includes: an elastic body-made seal device body 100 having an inner periphery lip 120 which contacts with an outer peripheral surface of a shaft 500 and an outer periphery lip 130 which contacts with a shaft hole inner peripheral surface in a housing 600; and a polytetrafluoroethylene-made annular foreign object capturing sheet 200 which is attached to the seal device body 100 at the seal object fluid side (o) of the seal device body 100. The foreign object capturing sheet 200 has: an inner periphery end part 220 which contacts with the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 500; and an outer periphery end part 230 which contacts with the shaft hole inner periphery surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
