Abstract:
To provide a vibration type actuator which can be downsized and can be easily produced.SOLUTION: The vibration type actuator has a vibrator 15 including an electric-mechanical energy conversion element 3 and including an elastic body 1 that is driven upon application of voltage to the electric-mechanical energy conversion element, a rotating body 16 that is in contact with the vibrator and that is frictionally driven by vibration of the elastic body, an output transfer member 11 that is fitted to the rotating body, a shaft 5 extending through the vibrator, the rotating body, and the output transfer member, a fixed member 13 that is fixed to the shaft and that moves relatively to the output transfer member, and a pressure member 10 that is configured to press the output transfer member against the fixed member so as to press the rotating body against the vibrator. The fixed member includes a base portion 13b, and a protrusion 13a protruding from the base portion to the output transfer member side. A pressure reception member 12 disposed between the base portion and the output transfer member in the axial direction of the shaft, is provided. A side surface of the protrusion is at least partially in contact with the output transfer member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
