To provide a storage device having a backup function.SOLUTION: A storage device includes: a main storage unit; a backup storage unit which backs up information stored in the main storage unit; and a control unit which is connected to the main storage unit and the backup storage unit and which controls access to the main storage unit and the backup storage unit, in which the control unit blocks the access to the backup storage unit from upstream of the control unit and backs up the information stored in the main storage unit for the backup storage unit at predefined timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
