Abstract:
To provide an information presentation device capable of giving suitable display in connection with a lateral acceleration of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An information presentation device presents a lateral acceleration and information about the lateral acceleration by using an LED display unit 11. The LED display unit 11 is a belt-like display unit located at an upper end 9a of a dashboard 9 immediately under a front windshield 3 and extending along a lower side 3a of the windshield 3 in a belt shape. When a lateral acceleration is not being generated in a vehicle A, a portion which emits light is represented as a mark M by lighting of an LED 12of a central portion 11. When a leftward lateral acceleration is generated in the vehicle A, a light-emitting area M of the LED 12is moved to the left, and the lighting of the LED 12is controlled such that a magnitude of the lateral acceleration is indicated by a distance of movement from the central portion 11of the mark M.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
