Abstract:
To provide a rotary table digital printer which assures further improved reproductivity of a printing result, and a printing unit.SOLUTION: A rotary table digital printer has at least one work station 8 to 18 which is fitted to a holding frame, and is designed as a printing unit 21 for printing onto a work-piece 6. The printing unit, in which a support frame for receiving an ink unit and a printing head module is connected to a printing unit receptacle related to the holding frame, has a printing unit interface which is so designed as to be connected to the printing head module. The printing unit further has the ink unit, and a printing head carrier having a carrier interface which is son designed as to be connected to the printing head interface. The printing unit receptacle, the printing unit interface, the ink unit, the printing head interface, the carrier interface, and the printing head module form string arrangement along a print direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
