Abstract:
To provide a flat membrane element making a burnt deposit hardly remained on a heating plate and capable of preventing the adhesion of the burnt deposit by easily cleaning the heating plate even when the burnt deposit adheres.SOLUTION: In a flat membrane element, the peripheral edge part of a filtration membrane 12 is thermally welded to a filter plate 11 at a first thermally welded part 21, the first thermally welded part 21 has an outer boundary line 22 located at an inside from the outer edge end 11a of the filter plate 11 and an inner boundary line 23 located at an inside from the outer boundary line 22, the outer boundary line 22 has a plurality of first projections 25 and first recesses 26 alternately formed, the first projections 25 are projected toward the outer edge end 11a of the filter plate 11 and the first recesses 26 are formed between the first projections 25 and retreated to an inward direction A opposed to the outer edge end 11a of the filter plate 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
