Abstract:
To transport a medium to be transported accurately to a target position at a prescribed timing in a configuration in which, a position of the medium to be transported can be changed multiple times in transport.SOLUTION: A transport device comprises: position detection means 101-103 for detecting a position of a side end part Pa of a medium P to be transported; and position change means 31 for transporting the medium P to be transported according to a position where the medium P to be transported is detected by the position detection means 101-103, and changing a position of the medium P to be transported multiple times by driving in at least one of a width direction of the medium to be transported and a rotation direction in a transport plane of the medium to be transported, and the device further comprises a transport speed control part 23 for changing transport speed of the medium P to be transported according to a changed position of the medium P to be transported by the position change means 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
