Abstract:
To provide a transport device for piling a plurality of partial book blocks along a transport portion formed of a transfer portions, piled book blocks being feedible to a processing machine.SOLUTION: The following elements are arranged in an entry of a transport device 100: i) a first transfer portion UEF-1; ii) a first separating element TE-1, which is arranged downstream of the first transfer portion and upstream of a second transfer portion UEF-2; iii) a last second separating element arranged downward of the second transfer portion arranged upstream of a processing machine BM operatively coupled to the transport device; iv) a transition portion ULS arranged upstream or downstream of the last separating element, within which transport portion, a book block product fed thereto can be transferred from a position of being horizontally transported to a position of being vertically transported; V) in the transition portion, the transfer portion is mounted with a sheet pile feed units BSZ-1, BSZ-2, and a sheet feeder ZTM-1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1a
