Abstract:
To suppress deterioration of emissions during increase correction of fuel injection amount after completion of fuel cut operation of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: This control device for an internal combustion engine is a control device for performing feedback control of an air-fuel ratio of gas flowing into an exhaust emission control catalyst mounted to an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine. The control device is configured to calculate a deviation between oxygen amount occluded in the catalyst and its target occlusion amount on the basis of the amount of air sucked to a cylinder and an output signal of an air-fuel ratio sensor installed upstream of the catalyst in the exhaust passage and change a target of an air-fuel ratio to be converged through the feedback control in accordance with the deviation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
