Abstract:
To suppress the generation of nonbonding radioactive zirconium and increase the radiochemical yield of radioactive zirconium.SOLUTION: Provided is a zirconium labeling method, by which radioactive zirconium is bonded to a chelating agent in a reaction solution containing a tracer molecule bonded with the chelating agent and radioactive zirconium, the method being characterized in that the pH of the reaction solution is kept equal to or greater than 0 and equal to or less than 2 in the reaction between the radioactive zirconium and the chelating agent. The tracer molecule is a peptide or a low molecular organic compound and the chelating agent is a deferoxamine (DFO).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
