Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a vibration-damping sound absorbing foam capable of realizing both a vibration countermeasure and a sound countermeasure, and capable of excellently producing a damping sound absorbing foam capable of taking measures against a wide range sound from a low frequency to a high frequency.SOLUTION: By performing the steps shown in the following steps [I] to [III] in this order, a vibration-damping sound absorbing foam composed of a foam 1 and fine particles 2 contained in the foam so as to form a bell-like structure having a communication passage to the surface of the foam is produced. [I]: a step for preparing a foam having a foam cell 1b internally and having a communication passage to the foam cell on a surface thereof, and fine particles having a particle diameter smaller than the cell diameter of the foam cell and larger than the diameter of the communication passage. [II]: a step in which the foam is swollen to expand the diameter of the communication passage, and then the fine particles are sprinkled on the surface of the foam, and the fine particles are pushed into the foam cell through the communication passage by the flow pressure of the liquid.
