Abstract:
To provide a structure capable of reducing an installation area of an apparatus while suppressing deterioration of an image quality read out.SOLUTION: A contact glass 54 guides an original conveyed to an original reading position. A color reference member is installed to a color reference reading position different from the original reading position, and is for acquiring data for a shading compensation. A cam mechanism moves a line image sensor 50 so that a reading position by the line image sensor 50 becomes the original reading position a the time of reading the original, and becomes the color reference reading position at the time of acquiring the data for the shading compensation. Projection parts 60a and 61a are positioned in a longitudinal direction both end sides of the line image sensor 50 on the side opposite to the contact glass 54 to the line image sensor 50 and in an inner side from the maximum dimension of an outer shape of the line image sensor 50, and guides the movement of the line image sensor 50 by the cam mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
