Abstract:
To provide multi-type air conditioning equipment and a method of setting the multi-type air conditioning equipment, each allowing for prevention of shortage of refrigerant in an indoor unit disposed on the lower side even when the plurality of indoor units are installed in positions different in height.SOLUTION: Multi-type air conditioning equipment 1 is provided in which a plurality of indoor units 3 are connected to one outdoor unit 2, the number of revolutions of a compressor is controlled so that a high pressure reaches a high pressure target value, and an opening of an indoor-side expansion valve of each indoor unit 3 is controlled so that heat exchange outlet temperatures of the plurality of indoor units 3 reach a heat exchange outlet temperature target value. The multi-type air conditioning equipment includes a setting part 71 performing such an initial setting that the heat exchange outlet temperature target value in a heating operation is lowered by a prescribed temperature and/or to increase the high pressure target value by a prescribed value, when the difference in height between the indoor units 3 having large difference in height, is over a prescribed difference in height as a result of comparison of installation heights of the indoor units 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
