Abstract:
To provide a thermoelectric power generation device which can operate with high generation efficiency while preventing a destruction of a thermoelectric power generation element.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric power generation module 10M includes a thermoelectric conversion element generating power by a heat source temperature difference which is a temperature difference between a high temperature heat source 10H and a low temperature heat source 10C. An output adjustment device 30 changes an output current value and/or an output voltage value outputted from the thermoelectric power generation module. A temperature detection device 40 detecting a temperature measurement point temperature Tm which is a temperature of a temperature measurement point Dm, at least a single spot included in any of the high temperature heat source, the low temperature heat source, and a thermoelectric conversion module, is further provided. When it is determined that a high temperature side interface temperature which is a temperature of a high temperature side interface, an interface of a high temperature heat source side of the thermoelectric conversion element, is higher than a predetermined upper limit temperature on the basis of at least the temperature measurement point temperature, a control portion controls the output adjustment device, increases the output current value or decreases the output voltage value, thereby reduces the high temperature side interface temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
