Abstract:
To provide control of a conveyor system using a plurality of conveyor controllers in network communication.SOLUTION: Various methods, devices and program products for controlling at least a part of a conveyor 10, specifying information about an article 23 carried by the conveyor and operating the conveyor are provided. One method determines whether a second conveyor controller is connected to a first conveyor controller and verifies based on a specification of its connection whether the second conveyor controller is connected to a normal network interface of the first conveyor controller. A step for setting to have the first conveyor controller to operate an electric roller 18 in a first normal direction when connected to the normal network interface and a step for setting to have the first conveyor controller to operate the electric roller in a second normal direction when it is not so are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
