Abstract:
To provide a rotor of a rotary electric machine capable of preventing the occurence of unbalance caused by a coolant accumulated in a coolant passage.SOLUTION: A rotor yoke 30 has at least a first core block 32A and a second core block 32B formed by layering electrical steel plates 33 with an identical shape. Each of the electrical steel plates 33 has a yoke hollow portion 37 being a coolant passage. The yoke hollow portion 37 positioning on the most outer-diameter side in the axial directional view has an outer-diameter side inner wall portion 38 with a circumferential directional width W on a virtual circle C1 with a radius R around the shaft center CL of a rotor 10. The second core block 32B is arranged adjacent to the first core block 32A in a state of having been rotated by a skew angle θ with respect to the first core block 32A. The circumferential directional width W is an overlapping length of the outer-diameter side inner wall portion 38A and 38B of the first core block 32A and the second core block 32B, respectively, in the axial directional view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
