Abstract:
To provide a foldable container and a sensor.SOLUTION: A print head assembly includes: a housing; a nozzle for jetting ink drops; a foldable container which is provided in the housing in order to supply an ink to the nozzle, and includes a first flexible side wall and a second flexible side wall opposite to the first flexible side wall; a spring assembly which is provided between the first flexible side wall and the second flexible side wall and includes a first plate and a second plate which is coupled to the first plate by a leaf spring; and a sensor assembly which is coupled to the housing, and includes a sensor which faces the first plate. The first and second plates are so energized as to exert a pressure onto the first and second flexible side walls. The first flexible side wall and the second plate are moved together according to an ink amount in the foldable container, and the sensor provides a sensor signal which indicates a distance between the sensor and the first plate in order to indicate the ink amount in the foldable container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
