Abstract:
To provide a technique with which it is possible to intuitively designate a target route for which traffic information is presented.SOLUTION: A traffic information guidance system comprises: a place of departure acquisition unit for acquiring a place of departure; a designated place acquisition unit for acquiring a designated place that is designated on a map by a user; and a guidance control unit for causing traffic information pertaining to a route heading from the place of departure to the designated place to be presented by a guidance unit, whereby it is made possible to intuitively designate a designated place while confirming a position and a direction on a map. Furthermore, since traffic information pertaining to the route heading from the place of departure to the designated place is presented, it is possible to present traffic information pertaining to a route that a user is very likely to travel from now.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
