Abstract:
To allow for contribution of demagnetization suppression of magnet.SOLUTION: A dynamo-electric has an armature winding including a polyphase winding part and multiple magnets provided, respectively, in multiple magnetic poles arranged in the hoop direction. The magnet has a pair of first action faces facing each other and becoming the inflow/outflow faces of magnetic flux, and a second action face becoming the inflow face or the outflow face of magnetic flux at the q-axis side end, and has a magnet path longer than the magnet thickness dimension between the pair of first action faces, and the axis of easy magnetization is oriented along the magnet path, while furthermore between the action face directing the armature winding side, out of the pair of first action faces, and the second action face, a magnet path is formed to extend from one face to the other face. A control arrangement 930 controls the electrification phase in each winding part so that a current, having a current phase different from that generating the magnetic flux orthogonal to the d-axis, flows to each winding part, by turning switches Sp, Sn ON/OFF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 73
