Abstract:
To provide a fiber formed of a 4-methyl-1-pentene based resin having an excellent breaking strength and elongation while maintaining an excellent heat resistance.SOLUTION: A fiber contains a 4-methyl-1-pentene based copolymer (X) satisfying the following requirements (X1) and (X2): (X1) it is a copolymer of 4-methyl-1-pentene and at least one olefin (except 4-methyl-1-pentene) selected from α-olefin having 4-8 carbon atoms; and (X2) it has a melting point (Tm) of 200°C or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: None
